Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Casablanca, the vibrant economic capital, you'll be greeted by a private driver and transferred to our hotel to unwind after your journey. Once you're settled in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or begin soaking in the Moroccan atmosphere at your own pace. If time allows, consider a stroll along the Atlantic coast or sip mint tea as the sun sets over the city.
We gather this evening for group introductions, orientation and Welcome Dinner.

After breakfast, dive into Casablanca’s unique blend of modern energy and traditional charm. We’ll visit highlights such as the elegant Habous district, the Royal Palace, and the striking Hassan II Mosque—one of the largest and most breathtaking mosques in the world.
We drive to Rabat, Morocco’s regal capital. With its peaceful gardens, whitewashed architecture, and seaside setting, Rabat blends history with sophistication. Stroll through the Kasbah of the Udayas, admire the Hassan Tower, and view the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. A traditional lunch will energize us before heading north through the lush Rif Mountains.
By evening, you’ll arrive in the magical blue-washed town of Chefchaouen. Tucked into the hills, this town is a photographer’s dream and a peaceful retreat from the bustling cities.

We leave Chefchaouen this morning and journey back through time exploring the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Wander stone paths once walked by emperors and admire remarkably preserved mosaics that echo a once-thriving empire.
Next, continue to Meknes, a former imperial capital rich with history. Enjoy lunch at a local spot (on our own), followed by a scenic drive past the majestic city gates and royal granaries that once stored the empire’s wealth.
By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Fes—a spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. Settle into your riad and take in the city’s timeless atmosphere.

Our scenic journey today carries us into Morocco’s wild heart—the Sahara Desert. Depart Fes and ascend into the cedar forests and alpine beauty of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, stop in Ifrane—known as “Little Switzerland”—and Midelt, a town famed for fossils and mountain charm.
As the landscape shifts from green hills to arid plains, we’ll follow the Ziz River past lush date palm groves before arriving in Erfoud. Then it’s time to hop into 4x4s and head into the golden dunes of Merzouga where our luxury desert camp awaits.
A camel ride over the rippling sands to watch the sun set in a blaze of orange over the horizon will surely be a trip highlight. This evening, a traditional Berber dinner and star-filled sky awaits.

This red clay fortress, used as a backdrop for films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones, rises like a mirage from the desert floor. Explore its narrow alleys and ancient towers before continuing your drive over the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass.

We leave the red city behind and journey west to the windswept shores of Essaouira—a laid-back coastal town brimming with charm and creativity.
Along the way, stop at a women’s cooperative producing Argan oil, where we’ll learn how this precious oil is harvested and crafted by hand. Then, arrive in Essaouira, once known as Mogador, and discover its bright blue boats, breezy ramparts, and European-flavored architecture.
Stroll through the medina’s sun-drenched alleys filled with galleries, artisan workshops, and cozy cafés. With salty sea air in your lungs and the rhythm of waves in your ears, this relaxing seaside town is the perfect mid-journey pause.

This morning, bid farewell to Essaouira and begin the scenic drive back to Casablanca. Pass by charming coastal villages and, if time and interest allow, stop for lunch in the seaside town of Oualidia or explore the historic Portuguese port city of El Jadida, with its crumbling ramparts and atmospheric cistern.
Arrive in Casablanca by late afternoon and settle into our hotel for one final evening in Morocco.
We will celebrate our journey with a special Farewell Dinner at Rick’s Café, an homage to the classic film.
