TOUR FEATURES: The small group cultural discovery tour, Exploring Portugal’s Bounty,
includes all ground services including private full time guide, hotels, meals each day per itinerary, and transfers. Tour originates at the airport in Lisbon and ends at the airport in Porto. The Maderia Island post tour begins in Porto and ends in Funchal, Maderia. Domestic air from Porto to Funchal is included in the post tour price, based on current fares. International air from the U.S. is not included in the tour price. Our recommended ticketing agent can assist with booking, or participants can book online.
TOUR COST: The base tour cost is quoted per person sharing double. A limited number of single accommodations are available.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE: Secure your reservation with a deposit of $800 at time of registration.). Final payment will be due in our office no later than June 1, 2025.
CANCELLATION REFUND POLICY: Cancellations must be received in writing, and are effective the date received in our office. Any refunds for payments made with Credit Card will be reduced by the 3% Credit Card Processing Fee, in addition to the schedule below. Cancellation schedule is as follows: up to 110 days prior, no penalty, 109-90 days before departure 15% of tour cost, 89- 45 days before departure recoverable cost, less than 45 days no refund. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. See Insurance below. No refunds for unused portions of the trip.

Getting To and From Portugal
Travelers on the main tour will fly into Lisbon to begin the journey and depart from Porto at the end of the main itinerary.
For those participating in the Madeira Island extension, the group will fly (included) from Porto to Funchal, Madeira (FNC) on October 1.where the trip ends on October 4. After this extension ends, participants can book their international departure from either Funchal or return to Lisbon after the tour ends.

Depart Óbidos and step further into history at Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline architecture, built to commemorate Portugal’s greatest victory overcoming the Castilian armies in 1385.
